About me

Betty's interest in real estate began a number of years ago when she and her husband, Stewart, purchased parcels of farmland in Southampton, Bridgehampton and Sagaponack, Long Island and built and sold 10 beach front vacation homes over a 15 year period. Shortly thereafter, they became principals in the development of the largest tract of open land in lower Westchester- 44 acres adjoining Winged Foot Golf club. The development included 22 luxury properties in the Town of Mamaroneck with a Larchmont postal address. Continued involvement in the industry led the McMillans to open a boutique agency in 1990. After merging with Phillip Severin LLP, the oldest real estate agency in Larchmont, McMillan Severin  became a top competitor for area listings. Community Involvement

Betty and her family have been involved in many local activities.  While raising her 5 sons, Betty was active in school functions and sports, from coaching soccer to being Class Mother.  Betty sings in her church choir and enjoys playing golf with friends.  She has done commission portraits and pen and ink drawings of local homes. Betty comes to Houlihan Lawrence from Coldwell Banker in Larchmont, as a Luxury Property Specialist and was the #1 Agent in her brokerage office, as well as one of the top ten agents in Westchester. ...
